BUYING A PRACTICE CONSULT
- Item #: BUYPRACTICE
For doctors that have never purchased a practice before, the process may seem ominous. A professional practice is a unique purchase with unique assets and risks.
The many questions often asked from doctors looking at practices to purchase are:
- Is this practice worth the price?
- What statistics and financials should I ask from the Seller?
- How do I know if the given statistics are accurate?
- How do I analyze and perform due diligence on the practice financials?
- How do I negotiate a fair agreement?
- What is entailed in a transition; events and term?
Since each Buyer situation is unique the consults offered are tailored to the topics in need. Consult consists of the Buyer communicating by email a list of topics and issues accompanied with any documentation for review. This allows Dr. Foster to become familiar with your issues and prepare prior to the consult. Once reviewed a consult is scheduled at a time where there is no interruptions. The consult will discuss each topic in detail presenting their inherent opportunities and risks.
